First Day of the WRO

Today was the first day of the WRO 2017 event, which is going to go on through Sunday. A total of 55 nations compete in 3 main categories - the open, regular and soccer category and our project is listed in the open category under the age group "junior".

A bus shuttle came and picked up all the participants at our hotel and brought them to the event center. This day was mainly supposed to be time for the teams to set up and get ready for the following days, on which the actual judges are evaluating each project. Although this wasn't an actual day of the competition, a lot of visitors from Costa Rica came and toured the hall, so we've already had a chance to demonstrate our project to some people and get their feedback.

After almost all teams were ready, the organization had a opening ceremony planned, during which some important people from the WRO as well as Costa Rica said a few nice words and officially started the event.

Tomorrow, we're getting judged by three different teams of judges which are the presentations that matter for the end results.
